RE: lugh'a' mughghachvam?

But I still need to know how to make a verb become a noun. I understand that if the verb has suffixes on it and I need it to become a noun, I add -ghach. But I don't know what those suffixes could be. That's what I can't wrap my head around. Exactly what suffixes would be used on a verb and then get switched to a noun?

Verbs do not come with suffixes already on them. The words listed in TKD that
have suffixes are listed that way to help people find what they are looking
for. If someone wanted to word "teach", most wouldn't think to
construct /ghoj/"learn" + /-moH/"cause", so MO listed /ghojmoH/"teach" so
people could find it. /ghojmoH/ is really "cause to learn".

Your right. Adding a suffix JUST so you can use -ghach isn't good. If you
find that you are forcing yourself to use a noun, then it probably isn't the
right way to do it. Klingons want ACTION. If you can't easily use a noun,
then rephrase using verbs.

Instead of saying "I went for a run this afternoon" ("run" being a noun here),
rephrase it with a verb, "I ran this afternoon".

Switching from thinking with nouns to thinking with verbs was difficult for a
lot of us. With practice you'll get there.
