Alright, can the words
and be used interchangeably, or are there subtle differences in the meanings that I'm just not seeing? Seems to be more narrow in meaning. I would feel comfortable saying that Dulcinea was Don Quixote's , but not that she was his. Calling someone your parmaqqay
indicates that there is
actually a romantic relationship, between the two of you, while bang, carries no such restriction.
Also, to say something like "chocolate milk," would one say or I would say . As some on this list express the nature of the noun-noun construct, of all milks, this is the one having to do with chocolate.

Subject: KLBC- 3 questions
1. In TKD I found the sentence:
"chenHa'moHlaH" - it is translated as "it is able to destroy it"
and then there is the sentence in all its parts. I have to admit, that I never would come to this result. When I would like to say, "it is able to destroy it" I would say:
"Qaw'moHlaH" Am I on the wrong way?
2. I have a problem to understand, why=20
DuS wa' - means torpedo tube number 1
wa' DuS - means one torpedo tube?
Normaly I start to translate a sentence at its end to find the subject. =
So if I do this in this case I would expect the wa' stands for one. It =
is totaly contrary to my feelings. Normal?
3. qama' vIqIppu' neH - I only hit the prisoner
I only hit the prisoner, I didn=B4t kill him. What do I have to say, =
when I mean: I only hit the prisoner, not the officer, not the child?
