With actions, slow repetitions and pauses for dictionary lookups, a qepHom
can be conducted almost entirely in Klingon.
My husband called during the proceedings and that conversation went like this:
jIH: nuqneH!
ghaH: I'll be home in five minutes.
jIH: DaHjaj qaS qepHom.
ghaH: Oh I forgot that was tonight.
jIH: naDev wej tlhIngan Hol jatlhwI' lutu'lu'.
ghaH: That's okay. I have an umbrella to beat them off with.
