There is an alternative interpretation: <yoHbogh matlhbogh je SuvwI'> may be missing a conjunction entirely, with <je> acting as an adverbial after the second verb. In any case, it is a song, so a little bit of nonstandard grammar is not unreasonable to make it fit nicely to the tune.
