Never used in canon per se, but it does appear as an element in the noun
{tlhIlHal} "mine" (lit. "mineral source/supply"):

   cha'puj tlhIlHal vISuch vIneH.
   I want to visit the dilithium mines. CK

   tlhIlHal yIngev!
   Sell the mine! KGT

   tlhIlHal yIngIv!
   Patrol the mine! KGT

Note the homophonous verb {tlhIl} "mine" and the derived noun {tlhIlwI'}
"miner".

See also {nagh} "rock, stone". Another useful noun for talking about mines
- say, on Rura Penthe {rura' pente'} - is {'och} "tunnel".
