According to the KLI's New Words list, <<'aqroS>> means

"maximum / bottom surface of a table, ceiling"

or the "high" part of the imaginary box enclosed by the table or the real 
box enclosed by a room. It's from here that I make the connection between 
"akros" and <<'aqroS>>.
