Translation of songs into Klingon?


Hi people,

I'm new to this list. I have read the FAQ, and I hope this posting is
sort of on-topic.

Have any of you guys ever tried to translate a song into Klingon? I mean
a popular song which is not originally related to Klingon. And by
translation I don't just mean translating the sentences so they reflect
the same meaning; what I mean by a translation of a song is a new set of
lyrics to the song in this language, which still fits the melody and
rhyme scheme but still follows the original lyrics in their overall
sense. (Does this make sense to you?)

I have collected some translations of songs for my homepage at
http://www.lionking.org/~timwi/cgi-bin/viewsongs.cgi - almost all of it
is songs from Disney movies so far, but I'm still to extend the
database, anyway.

I was wondering if any of you would like to give it a try and translate
any of the songs into Klingon. "Neverending Story" (at the end of the
page) is IMHO the easiest to translate, but if you don't mind a
challenge, I'd be more than happy if you could translate my personal
favourite, which is "Circle of Life"... Once you give it a try you'll
see that it's a fun thing to do. :-)
