The instructions *do* already appear at the end of every message written by
several of the list participants. I have subscribed to a couple of mailing
lists which do tack on the instructions at the end, and IT DOESN'T HELP.
There are still people who don't/won't see it. Since the added lines do
not keep people from asking to be removed from the list, I don't want *my*
messages cluttered by things I didn't write.
