I'll let the BG discuss your proverb, but look at the grammar of these
proverbs from The Klingon Way in the interim:

  Qu' buSHa'chugh SuvwI', batlhHa' vangchugh, qoj matlhHa'chugh,
   pagh ghaH SuvwI''e'.
  If a warrior ignores duty, acts dishonorably, or is disloyal,
   he is nothing.

  butlh ghajbogh nuv'e' yIHo'.
  Admire the person with dirt under his fingernails. 

  Dal pagh jagh.
  No enemy is boring. 

(Yes, this last one is meant to be ambiguous.)
