If it is your task, certainly you need to accomplish it. There's no need to
state that redundantly.

Without knowing what will come next, my first thought is something like
{nuq vIta'nIS} "What must I do?"

Here's another completely different recasting: {jIDeghtaH} "I'm acting
without a plan."
