There is absolutely nothing wrong with this sentence.
Granted, it expresses intentionality, i.e. that the having of the two
lives was deliberate, but perhaps that is what the speaker intends. In
a context where we're taking multiple lives seriously, there is no
basis for dismissing the notion of intentional lives out of hand.
As for using ghaj, ghaj no more implies literal possession in Klingon
than it does in English. Or are you going to stand there and tell me
that a day possesses/does not possess secrets? Some of you people need
to stop imposing your own ideas of style on beginners as if it were law.
