(On Sunday I got to meet Ethan Phillips, Peter David, Michael Jan Friedman,
Margaret Clarke [editor of The Klingon Way and Klingon for the Galactic
Traveler, as well as Neelix' Cookbook and the Star Trek Encyclopedia], and
not in a quick "howdyoudo?" setting.  I got to hang out with them between
events at the Vanderbuilt Planetarium.  This was really cool!  I've only
told part of the story; I'll tell more when I have the time.  We even got to
stick around after the Planetarium had closed, and before Ethan left, and he
had all our names memorized!  That must be a useful skill when you're a
celebrity!  He's a native Long Islander, and he had a really great time at
the event, so it's quite possible he'll be around again sometime.)
