CV is short for Curriculum Vitae. Basically it is a resume, list of all your acheivements, past job history, academic qualifications, interest and statement of useful aspects of your personality. You use it to impress future employers, or literary agents as i have recently discovered. A little advice, trying to get your first book published is hard. Don't do it unless you are determined. I'm still trying!
