My usual answer to questions like this is another question.  How can you
express these concepts without using the words "nausea", "asthma", etc.?
Pretend you're explaining them to someone with a kindergarten vocabulary
and try to choose words you *do* know how to say in Klingon.  Jargon has
this kind of problem no matter what languages are involved; Klingon just
lacks a lot of medical terminology in the first place. :-)

How many "people on the street" know what anaphylaxis is anyhow?  Having
had my face puff up a little due to shrimp on a couple of occasions, I'm
probably a bit closer to the issue than the average Joe or Jane...
