Re: Order of ordinals

SkyBox S15:

yIvoq 'ach yI'ol!

We are assuming that this is, in fact, Okrand's intended text. It's always
possible that somewhere in the editing process someone "corrected" this to
reflect English "the first Klingon vessels" {wa'DIch tlhIngan Dujmey}. If
we heard it on television, we'd immediately suspect the writing staff of
just looking up words in the TKD glossary and plugging them into the
English script.

Some editors at Pocket Books/Simon & Schuster routinely "improve" tlhIngan
Hol in the novels to fit their in-house style, particularly WRT
capitalization of sentences and proper names and the use of the apostrophe.
There have been the occasional typo and lines omitted, so we know their
editing of the cards isn't perfect. They probably don't bother sending
their copy before printing back to Okrand to proofread. Has Okrand ever
mentioned any problems at SkyBox to those who've talked to him?
