Note, this is a transliteration of "Matthew". If you want
"Matt", you can just say {mat}. It doesn't mean anything in
Klingon (yet) and is slightly different in pronunciation, since
the {a} is like the "a" in "father". You might get closer with
{met}, which is pronounced just like "met" in English, but
without any meaning (yet).
Because of association, you probably think "met" doesn't sound
like "Matt", but the fact is, "met" sounds at least as much like
"Matt" as {mat} does. Slightly moreso, even.
Meanwhile, {ma'chu'} is a verb meaning "clearly/perfectly
accommodate" while {machu'} is a verb meaning "we are new" or
"we engage, activate (a device)". Both sound enough like
"Matthew", though I might go for {matchu'} since it doesn't have
any Klingon meaning (yet).
