I suggest that you pretend the words "magic/sorcery/enchantment"
don't exist and try doing something to explain it.

"The magic, we should remember, is an art which requires
the colaboration between the artist and the public"
E. M. Butler - "The myth of magus" (1948)
Well .. magic is a kind of trick, illusion, sobrenatural
invoque, extraoridinary phenomenom, occult science. We have
to see the context for a better application of the word.
There are few words which can be used in its sense
peghQeD (science of secrets)
wanI' le' (exceptional phenomenon)
raQwI' (he/thing which handle)
toj - deceive/trick, tojmoH - cause deceive/trick, tojmoHwI' - he/thing
who cause deceive/trick, tojlu'bogh - which was tricked/deceived;
ngeb - be fake; ngebmoH - cause fake; ngebmoHwI' - he/thing who
cause fake; ngeblu'bogh - which was faked.
As Qov makes a smile, I suppose that she had found a good
word for "magic" :-)) jIqar'a' ?
