No, we don't know whether nouns may be modified by only one "trailer."  We
are given an example sentence which we are told cannot use two verbs
adjectivally on the same noun (not explicitly, but I can see no other
reading for the passage in KGT).  {Hoch} is a noun, not a verb, and so does
not act the same way.  {Hoch} is not an adjective.

On the other hand, it is a possibility.  If you are concerned about it, your
alternative works just fine.  majQa'.
