RE: KLBC: "Pakled" SoS QIn'e'

lab Edy:

This is a tough one. Since you didn't include a translation, sometimes
I'm not sure what you mean.

I have not played the CD through, but it sounds like Pakleds fit your
idea.

mu' vIyaj 'ach qech vIjonlaHchu'be'. I don't really understand the
purpose of the statement "Because you can't read quickly, you write
slowly".

>machoHpu'mo' juHmaj Daghovbe'.

It looks like you're trying to say the family has moved. I suggest
something like <juH chu' wIje'mo' ...> to carry this meaning.

Uncle Venancio, who died last year, has not visited us. Your pet annoys
me. He chases ships that do not move. nuqjatlh? jIyajchu'be'.

>Do' qech QaQqu' vIychorgh laSvargh. balmey SoQmoHwI'Daq qeS ghItlh:
>"naDev yIpoSmoH"

The first sentence here has no real verb. You are using <QaQqu'> as an
adjective to describe <qech>. It really needs to be the main verb in the
sentence. You are trying to say the factory had a good idea, yes? This
might also be a good place for the slang use of <chab> in KGT
"invention, innovation". Finally, although <QaQqu'> works, there are
better alternatives. <Do' valqu' vIychorgh laSvargh chab chu'>.

Good, but a few comments. I think you mean he left his keys in the car,
but the second part of the sentence doesn't quite say that. You are
saying, "in the car, he forgot". You need to add an object, like they
keys, to <lIj>. Also, <Suq> is a bit better than <tlhap> for your
meaning.

Qav.

loQ jIyajbe'qa'. "So they wouldn't need to change the coordinates, the
last family removed the numbers." If this is what you were going for,
you almost got it. The only problem is <Qav>, which cannot mean "last,
previous". It can only mean "last, final". For "previous", we have
either <vebHa'> or something involving <nungbogh>.

>*Maria* Daleghchugh chanob Danob. Daleghbe'chugh ghaHvaD vay'
DanobnISbe'.

<cha'nob> means "ritual gifts", which may not be what you want here.

'oHpu'.
>maQujtaHvIS *cup-board*Daq So'lI'mo' Quj Qap.

Again, <choH> doesn't work for "move". Also, I think you meant
<So'lu'mo'>.

<QInvam> might be better.
