I wonder if {-'a'} is required. It was not translated as a
question, and the {vaj} seems inappropriate for a question. I
would as likely consider valQIS to have goofed by replying
{HISlaH} instead of {bIqar jawwI'}, but then that probably
doesn't match the lip movements with the "Yes, my lord" she was
filmed saying in English. {{:)>

Good observation, unless, of course, it is the CLIPPED verb
form of {bIDo'Ha'.} There wasn't much mystery over who was
being unfortunate, after all, and Kruge knew he had to swiftly
turn his ship and dispatch with all evidence, including his
mate. Clipping the response would be appropriate.
