[{ja'chuq} is likely just {ja'} + {-chuq}, and if so, it can't have an
object. The translation "confer" probably works better to avoid the
temptation of treating it like the transitive "discuss". Consider the
verb {qel} instead. :-)]

"A lot" is a vague, approximate phrase. Get specific! Did you talk
loudly? Did you talk excitedly? Did you talk for many minutes? For
many hours? During the entire night? Once you know what you really
mean, you can usually find a good way to say it.
