We do have a word for congratulate. Look it up.
A family is a singular thing, even though it has multiple members, so the
{lu-} prefix is inappropriate. In Klingon, plural sense nouns are always
grammatically singular, with the known exception of Duj, meaning instincts,
which can be either. Smooth English translation of the Klingon, too.
