I've tried to give both my "in-kind" responses to the ideas and my
grammatical comments in Klingon. Apparently my grammar points aren't
sufficiently clear that way, so I'm resorting to English.

You didn't {tlha'} "chase" that usage. You {pab} "conformed to" it,
or your word {Da} "acted like" it, or your use {rur} "resembled" it.

You seem quite fond of phrases using {'oHbogh}. Do you have a reason
for avoiding simple apposition? And here, it's completely unnecessary
because you can easily say {Allah mu'mey jatlhbogh Muhammad}.

Is "if one dives, one loves the sea" any better? (Note also that the
mellifluous quality of "amar o mar" is lost as soon as it's translated
out of Portugese into Klingon *or* English.)

You're apparently toying with semantics here. The second "dive" you
give isn't a different meaning at all. It's exactly the same meaning
as the first, but in the context of SCUBA it just implies swimming at
a depth for a time.
Something's seriously wrong with your last phrase. "I ascend or I
cause to {'oH} that my {'Iv} is being the same." Neither of the words
I've left untranslated seem to fit where you've used them, and I don't
know enough about what you're saying to figure out if either of them
is just a typographical error.

Unfortunately, it's the wrong kind of "thick" for what you want to
say. Maybe the newly revealed word {Saw'} "have a depth of" could be
applied?

I won't complain, but I'll repeat my earlier observation: When I read
{lang}, I tend to think of the opposite of {ror}. (To be perfectly
honest, the *first* thing that comes to mind is Seqram...)

You misunderstand my confusion. You sprinkled perfectives all over
your description of the event, and I couldn't tell what was intended
as happening at the time as opposed to what had already happened.

The perfective problem recurs. With all the {-pu'} suffixes, I get
lost trying to follow the intended sequence of events. Did the ship
flee after it hid? Were you excited before all of this occurred?
