Read the first two sentences of section 4.2.7. To make something past or
future tense, you use a word that establishes that time.
DaH jIQuch - now I am happy
wa'Hu' jI'It - yesterday I was depressed
cha'leS jIghung - two days from now I will be hungry
}(2). what is the basic sentence stucture?O-V-S?S-O-V?S-V-O?O-S-V?V-O-S?V-S-O?
Read the line in all caps at the beginning of section 6.1.
OBJECT-VERB-SUBJECT
}(3).why does the grammar section of TKD seem to read like stereo
}instructions?{{:-)
I never had a stereo that came with instructions.
} How do you say "Don't do that!"? Qo'qa' 'e'!
How do you say don't do what? You have to specify what isn't done.
Use the appropriate imperative prefix from page 34 and use the suffix -Qo'.
yIjachQo' - don't scream (to one person)
peHIvqa'Qo' - don't attack again (to more than one person)
tIQaHQo' - don't help them
} How do you say"I love you"?jIH bang SoH--or-- SoH jIbang--or-- jIbang SoH
{bang} is a noun, representing the person that you love, as in "my love," To
say "I <verb> you" you need to ue the prefix {qa-} from p. 33.
{qamuSHa'} represents an idea somewhat like "I love you."
qa- I-you
muS hate
-Ha' undo
cf parHa' like.
