Which proves my point.  You're still able to surf them, they're still 
there.  Most websites were not involved in the activities which prompted 
Paramount's actions, and as such they did not receive "cease and desist" 
letters.  The whole thing was blown up out of proportion by a handful of 
websites.  I'm not saying that all of that handful were truly guilty of 
violating Paramount's rights, some clearly were, but others may have 
been more on the fringe (e.g., I personally have a hard time justifying 
or accepting Paramount's claims regarding images from films and episodes 
that have aired worldwide).

The fact that there are still more Trek related sites on the web than 
any other single topic aptly demonstrates that Paramount is not on a 
rampage for shutting them all down.

Now, let's all move on to a new topic, shall we?
