When I first saw it, I read "lom" instead of "lam", and was thinking "Sea
corpse great-building" and has this image of an underwater morgue. Then I
realized it was "sea dirt great-building" and started thinking of some
underwater/seaside huge complex for processing soil, or something.

Of course, once I saw someone's suggestion of "sand castle" it was ruined
for me. That's what I mean by the hindsight-word effect. Once it's
explained, it is completely logical and you think there's no possible way
to think anything else. But there is, and I didn't think "sand castle"
until I saw it proposed.
