Star Trek Documentary

Some folks are making a documentary on Star Trek, and where the fans have
run with it. I believe this is the project that Denise Crosby is involved
with, but I could be mistaken.

I had written to them, inquiring if they had some Klingon in their film,
since I think the work done on the language easily exceeds anything else
that fans of the show have done.

Unfortunately, they're shooting schedule seems to be mainly one of
convenience (i.e., they go to conventions that's easy for them and use
whoever is there) and mostly on the west coast. So, it doesn't look like
the KLI will be represented in the film.

On the up side, the Klingon language should be included in the documentary.
I've gotten word that they filmed Glen Proechel teaching a class, and
they've interviewed Marc Okrand at a convention last August.

If any of you plan on being at conventions, and hope to get interviewed
about the language, send these folks some email at [email protected] and
maybe you'll be in the right place at the right time for your chance to be
immortalized in film!
