I have added KLBC (Klingon Language Beginner's Course) to your letter (even
though I'm dying to respond); if you're a beginner, you should put this in the
subject. Only the list's Grammarian (SuStel) will respond - this prevents you
from being swamped by a lot of conflicting responses!

I have found the answers to many questions I asked through hard work
using the dictionary in conjunction with the casettes.
However, no matter how hard I search the dictionary, I can't find
the way to write the Klingon phrase appearing in the casette which
translates to "How many guards are coming?".
Is "mroS avw' ar?" an accurate transliteration? If I spelled
it wrong, can someone please correct me?
(This Klingon language is *finally* starting to click in.)
BTW: The following phrase, though it appears to contradict
it's self, seems to be what best describes the character that
I am trying to develop.
pongwIj QonaH.
betaSe'gnan jIH 'ej tlhingan jIH.
I know, it's content appears to be self-contradictory, but
I think it accurately describes the character. In examining
that passage above, however, I don't know if the language
is correct. Can anyone correct the language used? I tried
my best to get it right ... but I'm new to the language.
