Please include English translations of your Klingon until you become a little
more proficient. That way, I'll know exactly what you're trying to say.
Do you have The Klingon Dictionary? If not you'll need to get that, and to
read it thoroughly. Then read it again. Klingon is not just English
sentences with Klingon words, it's got its own grammar and rules.
The most basic thing to know about Klingon sentences is that they are in the
order Object - Verb - Subject. This is backwards from English's Subject -
Verb - Object. For example:
English:
The officer sees the child.
Klingon:
puq legh yaS
puq = child
legh = see
yaS = officer
This sentence does NOT mean "The child sees the officer." See? The subject
of the sentence is always the last word (well, usually; there are special
cases you needn't worry about now).
Klingon doesn't use prepositions like "with" or "to." Usually, these are done
with special noun and verb suffixes, and certain sentence clauses. These are
also detailed in TKD.
So, read TKD as soon as possible!
