I expect there are several. I've got a rudimentary one myself. The
vocabulary is small enough that it's not difficult for each person to
create his own, and the exercise of doing so is a *great* way to learn
the words. You won't remember all the translations by going through
the vocabulary with a sieve, but you *will* remember that a particular
word exists, and that will help you when drafting sentences in Klingon
rather than translating from English.
There's also a small matter of intellectual property laws that tends to
pop up when we consider lists of Klingon words. It's probably best not
to probe the limits of legality by making available, for free or profit,
material published by Paramount/Simon&Schuster/Pocket Books.
I've talked with my attorneys about Viacom's claim to copyright on the
language and they still maintain that it cannot legally be used. They have
*not* found any case law to refute that claim (Loglan vs. Lojban did not
help) and I doubt anyone could afford to take them to court. A little
research showed that Viacom goes out of its way to sue anybody over
anything and has a history of winning. We have formally asked Viacom to
elaborate on its claims to the language and they have not yet bothered to
answer us.
We are in the process of asking for licensing but have been advised to stop
selling "Secret Fighting Arts" for now.
Which brings me to my last point; although I *will* be attending the qep'a'
and I will *certainly* be giving a martial arts instruction/demo each
morning (except Sunday), I will not bring any books to sell. Sorry, you
have Viacom to thank for that.
