inverter does not create noise on the phone line, which I know
because I can use the modem while the inverter is on. It is the
interaction between the inverter and the laptop's battery
charger that creates the noise. I can run the laptop off
batteries while the inverter is on and it works fine. I also
have used the laptop while all batteries were removed, so the
charger doesn't work, and it worked fine (something I just
figured out from memory a few minutes ago). If I had remembered
this and associated it correctly, I could have just taken the
batteries out and gone online earlier. wejpuH.
