I will not comment on the grammar of the this sentence, rather on the use of
'e' with vIneH.
TKD section 6.2.5 "Sentences as Objects", tells us that:
"When the verb of the second sentence is neH "want", neither 'e' or net is
used, but the construction is otherwise identical".
Without changing the grammar of your sentence (which I would if I were
authoring this sentence), the construction should be "SalIH vIneH."
Sorry for nitpicking, but the truth is in the details.
