We at the qep'a' were watching the evening news on the two stations which
had sent news crews that day. Channel 6 was okay, I think, if perhaps a
bit sketchy. Channel 10 seemed to stress the "Star Trek Convention" idea
quite a bit more than appropriate, and they focused only on those people
wearing ridged foreheads.

Luckily, one of the more prominent faces in our group belongs to Qov, who
stands out both in stature and skill. It amused me greatly to hear, quite
distinctly, her words {...be' porgh 'ang...} on the 6:00 news. :-)

[The camera had caught Qov in a random, unstaged conversation about the
"Theiss Titillation Theory." Bill Theiss was the costume designer for
the original Star Trek series, and _The Making of Star Trek_ describes
the theory, saying "...the degree to which a costume is considered sexy
is directly dependent upon how accident-prone it appears to be."]

Be patient; I expect there to be something on the KLI web site soon that
will help you out.
