I think so too - but this phrase does express what a French waiter would say 
in a similar situation.

Typical Annoying American - Blah Blah Blah
French Waiter (bringing plate of food to the American, of whom he has had all 
he can take)Bon appetit.

To me the real question is this - Is yISop a comment used traditionally, or 
was it assumed so from this one canonic usage? If this is the only use of 
yISop we know of, perhaps we assign more significance to it than it deserves?
