Whoa! You know, until reading it now in this response, I had been
understanding this totally wrong? I was reading "wej" as in "not yet."
That is, "we don't have phones yet." Hee. A famous complaint, and my
fault for not getting it straight. Languages do dumber things than allow
this kind of confusion; we simply must learn to live with it.
