Perhaps we can say that the decision not to make reference to this order
is related to the pre-Kahless politics of the play itself. This was
probably written before we learned of the monks of Borath. Of course,
this kind of thing is always going to happen; the script-writers will
create something that has supposedly been there all along, but we
couldn't have referred to it 'cuz we didn't know.
