Twelve days ago I posted a note regarding organizing some <<qepHommey>> in
the coming months (http://www.kli.org/tlhIngan-Hol/current/0212.html).
A fair number of you responded, and I'll be sending out more specific
information to these people in the next week or so, posting information to
the list, adding a page to the website with dates, locations, and contact
information, as well as including the specifics in the March issue of
<<HolQeD>>.
However, I was disappointed to note that none of the volunteers hosts of
these <<qepHommey>> are outside the USA. Klingon is alive and well in
several other nations, and this list receives input from several of them.
Indeed, an argument could be made that other countries are in greater need
of a <<qepHom>> to build up a solid base of Klingon speakers, than is the
case in the USA.
So, those of you in Germany, or the Netherlands, or the UK, or elsewhere,
please consider doing your share to promote the language in part of the
world by hosting and helping to organize a <<qepHom>>. As before, if you'd
like to volunteer please send email to me at "[email protected]" with the
subject line "qepHom" and I'll get back to you real soon.
