The 1997 KLI Membership Directory will begin layout the first week in
March. If you still haven't mailed back your directory postcard (and let's
face it, you've had five months!) the absolute deadline is Monday, March
1st to get it in.
Do NOT send me email containing your directory information, it's actually
quite a bit more work than dealing with the postcard. Note: I will make an
exception for those KLI members residing outside the US, since it's not
likely for foreign mail to arrive in a week's time.
Only those members who are current will be listed in the directory. There
are a number of people who were active members at the time the cards were
sent out (back in September of 1996 with HolQeD #19), but whose memberships
have since expired. If you sent in the card but haven't gotten around to
renewing your membership you will not be listed in the directory.
Somewhat related to this, 170 KLI members had their memberships expire with
the December issue, HolQeD #20 (one of those end of the year confluence
things). If this applies to you, even if you dutifully sent your directory
postcard in after receiving it in September/October, you won't be included
in the 1997 directory if you haven't renewed.
Bottom line, if you're not scheduled to received the March issue of HolQeD
because you've allowed your membership to lapse, then you won't be in the
Membership Directory which will be mailed with that issue.
So, send those postcards and renewal fees in today!
