Here's a word in KGT that I thought was *almost* a pun, but thankfully
wasn't... and then I realized it was. It's contrived enough that I think
Okrand really did have this in his head when coming up with this word. And
if so, the man really should have someone look at that.
Read p.97, and find out what a {warjun} is. The dictionary definition
isn't enough. I remember thinking, "At least he didn't call it a {bIyver}
or a..." and then it hit me. {warjun}=Ward + June. Spoiler and cultural
explanation below.

In the famous old TV series, "Leave it to Beaver," the family name of the
Beaver (the protagonist, a little kid who got into trouble a lot) was
"Cleaver" (which is what a {warjun} seems to be: a rectangular cutting
implement for cooking). And the Beaver's parents? Ward and June Cleaver.
