That's a question which has always been hotly debated around here.  There are 
two views: (1) {nuqneH} works exactly like English "hello."  (2) {nuqneH}, 
which literally means "What do you want?" is used in exactly that context: 
when desiring to know why someone has accosted you.

I'm quite firmly planted in the (2) camp.  I think it's a ridiculous notion to 
see Klingons smiling happily and shouting "What do you want?" at each other 
for no other reason than to acknowledge their presence.

Careful!  It's a bad idea to try to mix Klingon and English sentences.  It's 
usually all right with nouns, but the grammar is so different that doing it 
with verbs is a Bad Idea.

That said, you DID use this verb in the correct context . . .

That would be a violation of copyright.  There are lookup programs which do 
not display the dictionary in a text format for you, but you'll need to 
actually purchase TKD for the wordlist and grammar.
