Usage of "SIv"

I need to ask about the usage of the word "SIv", to wonder. In English, I use
the form "wonder if" when I use this word, as in "I wonder if Ann is finished
with that book?". I suspect that this is idiomatic, but I'm not sure. It also
occurs to me that I use a question mark at the end of the phrase containing
"wonder". The point of all this is to ask, "How do we use this in Klingon?"
I'm assuming that to use the -chugh suffix to get the "if" part is quite
wrong, so how would you use it?

I decided to ask about this before I tried posting something and having
everybody, especially the BG, go, "Huh?" I hate it when that happens.. ;)

Thanks in advance for any help, of course!
