Although the story-teller interpretation may have faltered, one could
probably make a decent argument that the little "you believe him" translation
still holds. After all, given what little we know about Klingon culture,
does it seem odd that one would consider an accomplished warrior trustworthy
and a reliable source?
I can easily imagine Klingon aphorisms based on this interpretation:
"His honor is as weak as his battle skills."
"A weakling's words have no truth"
or even a spin on the English "might makes right"
Just some food for thought too early on a Wednesday morning.
