KLBC: looking at my feet

Yet another martial arts proverb. I seem to have a relative clause in a purpose
clause. This was confusing to me but here it is:

The only reason to look at your feet is to see where your head will fall.
yavDaq pumbogh nachlI' DaSammeH neH qampu'lI' Danej

There doesn't seem to be a verb 'to look at' so I used [nej], 'to look for'. It actually
works well since you are supposed to know were your feet are without looking at
them.
Is [yavDaq] redundent?

Thanks,

HetaQ
