I agree that <<chaw'>> would be the better usage, but to use <<-jaj>> would
not be out of context. TKD, pg. 175-176 says:
"This suffix is used to express a desire or wish on the part of the speaker
that something take place in the future...-jaj is often translated with may or
let, and it is particularly usefule when placing a curse or making a toast."
I believe that if Dr. Okrand was pushed on this he'd probably say don't use
<<-jaj>> form the sentence with <<chaw'>>.
