Hi, Christine. Welcome to the list! I'm the Beginners' Grammarian
at present; you can call me ghunchu'wI'. If you put the codeword
"KLBC" in the subject line of a message, I'll give it priority and
try to answer any questions you have, or give an analysis of your
writing.
You've used the verb {pong} as appropriately as any attempts I've
seen. It's a little problematical, since Klingon doesn't have an
explicit way to indicate what I believe other languages call a
"predicate nominative", which is the name itself. Since TKD 6.1
says that nouns which aren't either subject or object come before
the object noun, I think you've done it right, but I can't be sure.
{tera'Daq yInbogh ghotpu'} are usually called {tera'nganpu'}. :-)

"I am honored that..." doesn't translate directly as {'e' jIquv}.
{'e'} is always the object of a sentence (see TKD 6.2.5), and the
verb {quv} doesn't look like it can have an object. (If it did,
the prefix would have to be {vI-}, but that's irrelevant.) Does
the sentence "I am honored *because* I can participate..." express
what you wanted to say? Try using the verb suffix {-mo'}.
Otherwise, this is remarkably clear for a sentence which has three
verbs in it!
