Hamlet Update!

It is with great joy that I share the news that Hamlet is done!
Word came from the Book Manufacturers, and I should be receiving inspection
copies today; an itemized bill showing the remaining amount we owe will be
coming on Friday.
I will be sending them a check to cover the balance, and when they receive it
they will ship the books to me. I in turn will stuff them into the prepared
mailers and they should all go out in the mail as scheduled before the end of
the month.
However (and you KNEW there'd be one), the KLI does not have sufficient money on
hand to cover the remaining balance due on the books. We'll pay it, because
they won't send the books otherwise, but as things stand today I'll have to dip
into my own pockets to cover several thousand dollars that we're short.
Which makes this an especially good time to remind you that contributions to the
KLI are tax deductible and always welcome. Several individuals have very
generously come forward and donated $500 to this project, and as a consequence
will receive one of the twenty-six individually lettered deluxe editions of
Hamlet. I realize that few of us have the financial comfort zone for such a
generous contribution, but a few more would be most welcome (and we still have
copies of the deluxe edition which we'd love to give you!). Free copies of the
regular edition of Hamlet will still be given out to those who donated $100 as
well. And of course we're not too proud to take smaller sums, they add up
nicely.
Anyway, thank you for your continued support. One way or another, Hamlet is
coming home in the next few days.
