Hmm. Are they really incomplete sentences with bad syntax, or are they
just semantically strange? What happens when they are negated? Please
forgive my blind groping with the German language, but does "Ich nicht
wohne" mean anything? I don't see a problem with the apparent meanings
of these phrases which have no locatives. They're unusual, but they do
not seem incomplete to me.
