"nIn" is a noun, not a verb.  If it were a verb, I'd expect you'd need a
"-meH" (it uses it IN ORDER TO fuel itself).  A sentence should not have
two main verbs.

Since "nIn" is a noun, maybe something like "'ej nInDajvaD 'oH DamoH" (it
makes it act as its fuel).

But they're also part of the fun of a language.  Homophony happens.
