Just to make sure this doesn't run any further...
Although I have not seen this letter (and it seems unlikely that I am on Glen's
mailing list) as the presumably "injured party" I hope you will respect my
request that this list not be used for a discussion of Glen's letter, Glen
himself, the ILS, or any of its works. Legitimate reviews of Klingon materials
are one thing, building one another into a virtual frenzy is something else all
together.
I think Joel Anderson expressed the feeling quite well, and I'd just like to
echo his sentiments and ask that you not post flames here. That's not what the
this mailing is for, and it has never been the purpose or role of the KLI
either.
If you have the need to express yourself in this matter I recommend you send a
letter to the source, and even then raging will do no good. I appreciate the
remarks made by those of you who saw *my* open letter as a statement of the
prevailing situation, not as an attack. If you choose to write to Glen, I would
hope you do so in the same spirit. Otherwise, it will be an empty gesture,
standing beyond the city gates to face the wind.
