hmmm... my point didn't really consider the question of
"still", I was just under the impression that ghuy'Do
and you, charghwI', had different opinions on the meaning
of "aspect". Anyway, I don't think -taH _generally_ means
"still", though it may sometimes - among others (note the
"e.g." in my post).
SIStaH CAN mean "it is still raining", it can also mean
"it was raining" as opposed to a simple SIS "rain fell"
(the distinction seems to be clearer in the past tense).
However, if I (personally) wanted to express "still"
I'd use "not yet stopped", e.g. wej SISbe'choH or - if
I wanted to stress the ongoing aspect of the action -
wej SISbe'choHtaH. (ah - is it only me or does this really
need a tiny little bit of brain .. tilting? hmm .. it's
probably the wej that needed the -taH, so maybe it doesn't
work after all..)
